Thoughts on James

So, have been reading a lot of James lately. Actually have probably read the book now about 3 times over the past few weeks....I think this is a wonderful book, as to me, there is very little left for interpretation. It pretty much tells it to you the way it is. I like that. It is such a good book to bring things back into perspective and to give pause to think about some of our daily things in life.

So, that's just my two cents. Check out James and read up! Good stuff!

Flies to use about now

So....some flies I have been using with luck these past few weeks: BWO size #18 and #20, Pheasant Tail (sparkle) at size #18, and I think Caddis should be coming out soon (if not already out).....also don't forget you can still get luck off of the pink squirrel as well as the brassies (#18)

New fishing gear

Alright, so last week got a new fishing pack at Gander Mountain. Got a new fishpond pack; http://www.fishpondusa.com/waterdance.cfm and gotta say..this thing is going to ROCK! Am excited as I can fit more gear than I used to be able to carry, plus it is around my waist, so won't hurt the back! I also have their nippers, and love 'em to!

Plans will be to meet in the church foyer at 4 pm, and then go fly fishing on a local stream followed by a Bible Study. If the church is closed, just meet in the church parking lot.
